Lela Organic was founded by Felicity Ieraci from a simple idea — that what we wear closest to our skin should care for us as much as we care for the planet.

Our underwear and bras are made from GOTS-certified organic cotton, grown in Diyarbakır, Turkey. It’s soft, breathable, and kind to both your body and the earth.

Where It All Began

I’m Felicity, and Lela Organic started as a personal obsession that turned into something much bigger. I became aware that synthetic fabrics, like polyester, are made from non-renewable petroleum-based chemicals. Even many so-called “eco” fabrics, like bamboo, rely on chemical-intensive processing to become soft enough to wear.

Underwear, in particular, caught my attention. It plays a big role in vulva health, and synthetic fabrics can trap moisture, leading to irritation, eczema, or infections. Natural fibres, on the other hand, allow skin to breathe, and cotton is one of the best.

Why Organic Cotton?

Not all cotton is created equal. Conventional cotton relies heavily on toxic pesticides, herbicides, and insecticides, which harm farmers, soil, and waterways.

That’s why I chose GOTS-certified organic cotton as it’s grown without GMOs or harmful chemicals. It protects the health of the people who grow it, preserves biodiversity, and ensures every fibre meets the highest global standard for sustainability.
