At Lela Organic, we make underwear and bras from GOTS-certified organic cotton — a natural, non-toxic fabric that’s kind to your skin and the planet. Unlike conventional cotton, organic cotton is grown without harmful chemicals or pesticides, making it a safer, more sustainable choice for everyday wear. Uses no toxic chemicals

GOTS-certified organic cotton is grown without toxic chemicals, insecticides, pesticides, herbicides, or GMOs. Conventional cotton crops rely heavily on these chemicals, which are harmful to farmers as well as being detrimental to the environment due to chemical run off after heavy rain into rivers, lakes and other waterways. Due to organic cotton using no toxic chemicals, it makes the fabric hypoallergenic and a great choice for sensitive skin.

Breathable

When it comes to underwear, breathability is everything. Unlike synthetic fabrics such as polyester, which trap heat and moisture, organic cotton is a natural fibre that allows your skin to breathe. It’s soft, absorbent, and keeps you cool — making it an easy choice for comfort in any climate.

We chose organic cotton for our underwear as it is a natural plant, and is regenerative - meaning we can grow more of it and not simply deplete a natural resource to extinction. Being plant-derived means it's also vegan-friendly. Animal welfare is something we’re passionate about and we have made a conscious decision not to use any products or fabrics that are animal-derived. We care about our planet and all the creatures that live on it.
